Ceramics are among the hardest and most wear resistant materials available. In slurry wear applications, ceramics are proven to outperform other materials such as rubbers, polyurethanes, and specialty steels.

Depending on the specific application, Keramos can provide a range of ceramic wear solutions. We specialise in ceramic lining of pipe spools and chutes, using either monolithic ceramic inserts, ceramic tiles, or rubber backed ceramic wear pads (depending on the size, operating conditions or budget). Our experienced engineers will recommend the best solution for your requirements.

Monolithic Ceramic Lined Pipe Spools

Keramos monolithic silicon carbide ceramic insert lined pipes provide exceptional wear resistance for the most demanding conditions and typically outperform wear in rubber linings by 8-12 times.

Sizes available up to 500NB and the ceramic lining can often be made as a one-piece item with no joins.
